It would seem that we deal with you at two levels: first is as a Minister of the State. While not in constant agreement with you we appreciate your quick responses.
The second is as a politician. We belong to no party and would best be known as an old mate of Harry Holgate and of the Labor Party of that era. When you implied on television that the Greens may have had something to do with the terrible destruction of forest harvesting machines we became quite agitated. You had no right to aledge that...and you did aledge...
If you had made the equally deplorable statement that many Tasmanians torch their property when things get tough...you would have been politically crucified.
Because we are on the Other Side does not impinge upon our desire to have Tasmania prosper. Your allusions (or your Party's) that we may all be ecoterrorists is beyond the Pale...which is somewhere in the North Sea!
We support you as a minister of the Crown. We oppose you as a politician!
