To whom it may concern,
This is probably one of very many emails you've received from folk like myself, who feel we have little outlet for outrage.
The pulp mill proposed for the Tamar Valley is a blight on my heart; a threat to the memories I hold dear of the place I was born - even though it's a very long time since I lived there.
The only news I have, living just outside Sydney, of the protests against the mill, are the forwarded emails from my sister and mother in Launceston. They sent me explanations and reports of last weekend's rally, and we heard nothing in the media.
So I am moved to write a note here, of a form of support I can show, by putting at least my name to "paper" on the issue. Thank you for your efforts in trying to save the cornerstone of purity which is Tasmania. We who live on the bigger island need to know Tasmania is still there, with that particularly alive smell when you land; with clarity in light and water; with people who love the land.
Again, many thanks, and please don't give up.
Yours Sincerely,
Narelle B.
