The State Parliament will be sitting in the Albert Hall, Launceston 26-28 August 10am to 6pm each day.
Role up for the big debate in Parliament (Albert Hall, Launceston) to repeal the Pulp MIll Assessment Act and Section 11
This week at 3.45pm on Wednesday 27th August, Kim Booth MP will be calling on the Parliament for a conscience vote to repeal the Pulp Mill Assessment Act and with it the infamous Section 11. The debate will occur during the Greens' Private Members Time beginning at 3.45pm and lasting until 4.30pm at which time there will be a vote so that Liberal and Labor will be given one last chance to reconsider their support for such an odious piece of legislation.
Will our politicians take the opportunity given to them by Kim's motion to redress the damage done under ex premier Paul Lennon?
Come along and pack the Albert Hall public gallery in support of Kim's motion. It takes several minutes to go through security so get aim to get there at around 3pm. If you can't get in, then help form a big crowd outside for 3.45pm to add more support. More the merrier; mark it in your diary today.
If attending the public gallery, please be seated before sessions commence.
Question time on Tuesday and Thursday is 10am. On Wednesday it is at 5pm.
