In July 07 I listened to an excellent program on ABC radio on Bee decline. I think the topic has relevance to the forestry problem in Tasmania as both Insecticide use and monoculture cropping were suggested as probable causes. It's worth reading the transcript as I believe we are suffering bee decline here in Tasmania as well and the problem is only going to get worse. Without bees to pollinate our crops we are doomed as a species.
