Gunns want to route their pulp mill pipeline through one of the most densely populated parts of the West Tamar municipality including over West Tamar Council (WTC) owned land. A majority of WTC ratepayers oppose Gunns planned pulp mill. In addition, the Council passed a unanimous vote of no confidence in the pulp mill assessment, and 8 other motions expressing their concerns on issues related the mill. Yet it appears that there are secret deals being done between the Council and Gunns. | ||
